The event is a Rapid Chess tournament (RAPID-Turnier der BSJ), designed to test players’ quick thinking and tactical sharpness. Competitors faced a demanding schedule of 7 rounds under the Swiss System, with a strict time control of just 20 minutes per player for each game.

In such a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure is just as important as tactical knowledge. Anish demonstrated incredible focus throughout the day. The U8 category, dedicated to players born in 2017 and younger, requires not just talent but the mental stamina to perform consistently over several hours. Anish rose to the occasion, navigating the complexities of the board with precision. His ability to handle the pressure of the clock and outmaneuver his opponents secured him the absolute top spot on the podium.
